Legion of Good Will’s Baby Citizen Program

The Legion of Good Will’s Baby Citizen Program event is approaching on June 28, 2014. The goal of the Baby Citizen program is to support pregnant women and mothers with children up to three years of age who are at social and economic risk in Newark, NJ. You can help us guarantee a healthy beginning for the lives of newborn children through in-kind or monetary donations. Think about how happy and secure a mother will feel in receiving pre-natal support, health screenings, and being able to welcome their beloved baby with a beautiful layette of basic care items. Some specific items we are collecting until June 27th are:

• Baby First Aid mini to-go kit
• Natural clean baby wipes
• Wide neck baby bottles (8 oz.)
• Baby shampoo
• Baby lotion
• Baby body wash
• Baby skin balm (butt paste)
• Bibs (neutral/unisex colors)
• Hooded baby towels
• Flannel baby blankets
• Baby toothbrush and toothpaste
• Baby comb
• Diapers (newborn–3 years)
• Bodysuits (neutral/unisex colors)
• Footed pants (neural/unisex colors)
• Baby Clothes (new/semi-used)
