The music Prayer for Tranquility*, by composer Paiva Netto, was fully presented at the end of an online masterclass given by Maestro Ricardo Averbach for students of the Escuela de Dirección de Orquesta y Banda Maestro Navarro Lara on December 18. More than 16,000 maestros, conductors, and others interested in classical music attended the class by connecting from Spain and various countries.
Navarro Lara, Principal Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band of Huelva/Spain and Honorary Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Paraguay, paid tribute to the students pursuing their bachelor’s degree in orchestral conducting and also to Maestro Averbach by playing the music. Averbach conducted the above-mentioned work for the Sofia Symphony Orchestra.

*Prayer for Tranquility - An excerpt from the Oratorio The Mystery of God Revealed, by composer Paiva Netto, that has exceeded the mark of 500 thousand copies sold. This piece of music was written in Portugal and in Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul (1998), Brazil, under the inspiration of the brilliant composer Villa-Lobos (1887-1959).
