Education for sustainability

Under the theme "Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care," the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) celebrates World Environment Day 2015 on June 5. “The well-being of humanity, the environment, and the functioning of the economy, ultimately depend upon the responsible management of the planet’s natural resources. And yet, evidence is building that people are consuming far more natural resources than what the planet can sustainably provide,” according to UNEP. 

Thus, we know that every action counts! Changing this sad reality and even helping nature's ability to recycle itself is what children and youth assisted by the Legion of Good Will (LBV) learn by means of its unique educational proposal. With the objective of uniting brain and heart, it educates them to become agents of change for a Culture of Peace and for sustainable development. Watch below some of the results of this work:
